introducing your tutor
Cheryl is a dedicated linguist who graduated from the University of Surrey with a BA in Combined Languages (specialising in Spanish) and a PGCE from The Open University. She has over 14 years of experience teaching students from KS1 – KS5 at a state grammar school for girls and a mixed, non-selective school in the independent sector.
Cheryl approaches her lessons with enthusiasm and friendly professionalism, taking pride in delivering engaging and varied activities, not only ensuring the essential curriculum is covered, but also enriching learning through exploring and embracing cultural elements. Introducing our spanish assistant… Tomás el Toro
Tomás is our friendly Spanish bull who loves to speak Spanish and in particular enjoys helping our younger learners. He likes to sing and dance and have lots of fun whilst assisting in lessons. Cheryl and Tomás have worked closely together whilst teaching KS1 – KS3 students, and he is always ready to participate in a competition or a game.
